Mario Schifano is considered one of the most prominent artists of postmodernism who attracted the interest of critics with his monochrome paintings. His style evolves over the years, leading him to integrate little by little numbers, letters, road signs and the brands Esso and Coca-Cola into his works and evolves toards futurism from 1964.
