Roger Capron is a French ceramist who, along with Robert Picault and Jean Derval, participated in the renaissance of ceramics in Vallauris. Since 1955, the work of Roger Capron focuses on the creation and production of tiles and tables, thus igniting the motto of his master René Gabriel “to make the beautiful within the reach of all”. Following his collaboration with Jean-Michel carré and the closure of his factory in 1980, Roger Capron continued to work in his workshop in Vallauris and began new work in 1990 with unique pieces.
