French ceramist, Jean Derval quickly joins his comrades Roger Capron and Robert Picault, thus integrating the famous Atelier Madoura. Jean Derval works his ceramics by reinterpreting lessons of cubism and abstraction and directed towards architectural ceramics with a sculptors vision at the end of the 60’s.
