Joan Miró
Joan Miró (1893–1983), a major artist of the 20th century, is renowned for his unique style blending abstraction and poetic imagination. Though often associated with Surrealism, he developed a personal visual language characterized by organic shapes and vibrant colors.
His lithographic work, which began in the 1930s, gained momentum after World War II. Miró viewed this technique as an extension of his painting, allowing him to freely explore colors and textures.
